Building Guide

Kurashiki Church has walked together with the city of Kurashiki.

The church building is registered as a national tangible cultural property designed by Isaku Nishimura.

Every morning at 10:00am, the church bell resonates,

“Come, Come! (in stead of ding, dong)” as if the bell is inviting you to the church.

“It sounds like an English word, ‘Come, Come!’  It is a sign that something good is coming.”
